In case you receive the Cayin - iHA-8 with a manufacturing defect, please raise a return request within 7 days of delivery.

However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

Please make sure that the product is in the original packaging with all the accessories it came with. We'll also need an unboxing video and images of the parcel to investigate about the discrepancy. You may be asked to share images of the product and the packaging received for us to determine the damage or defect prior to approving the return request. The free replacement will be shipped only once the original order is returned.

A replacement will be issued only if:

- It is found to be defective
- It is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession
- The product is not different from what was shipped to you
- The product is returned in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer's box, MRP tag intact, user manual, warranty card and all the accessories therein)

Cayin adds another high-performance audio device to the esteemed I-series, the iHA-8. This class-a desktop headphone amplifier features built-in adaptive power, gain and efficient current switching circuits. The Cayin iHA-8 equips a 4-channel Discrete JEFT Class A HeadAmp for exceptional audio performance. It features Hyper ultimate mode, high and low gain control with three versatile headphone outputs-XLR-4, 4.4mm and 6.35mm, allowing flexibility and precision in headphone amplification. Cayin also provides the Cayin iHA-8 with pre/line dual input modes that cater to various audio sources. With the 70W low-interference toroidal transformer and overkilled 50,000uF filter capacitors, the Cayin iHA-8 aims to provide accurate sound delivery. The Cayin iHA-8 also equips a high-precision electronic volume control circuit for precise volume adjustments. You can elevate your music listening experience by pairing the iHA-8 with the iDAC-8 DAC and iDAP digital streamer. All are thoughtfully designed and put together to enhance the overall performance and provide a superior music-listening experience.

FULLY BALANCED DISCRETE CIRCUIT DESIGN WITH FOUR DIFFERENTIAL CHANNEL

The Cayin iHA-8 features a fully balanced discrete circuit. The four-channel differential circuit design equips TI low-noise mono Opamps and Toshiba audio-grade JFETs connected in parallel with a constant current source for each channel. This design ensures low noise, low distortion, high current and better driving ability. The Cayin iHA-8 also incorporates Vishay power MOSFETs for a three-stage large bias current. It also includes a DC offset voltage servo circuit to maintain a stable output DC offset voltage of 0V. It has built-in adaptive power, gain and quiescent current switching circuits that enhance iHA-8's overall performance, delivering an exceptional music listening experience. The Ultimate Hyper Mode maximizes the headphone amplification circuit's performance by adjusting and improving the static operating current and voltage. This mode increases output power and gain while preserving the pure Class A state, resulting in a more pristine, transparent sound with a well-defined and dynamic soundstage.

The Cayin iHA-8 offers preamp and line-level input options with volume control capabilities. When Line input is selected, it allows the Cayin iHA-8 to function as an integrated headphone amplifier. In Pre input, it operates as a pure power amplifier when connected to a front-end DAC with preamplifier functionality. Cayin has implemented a precise volume control circuit to deliver exceptional sound performance in your music listening experience. It utilizes an ALPS-customized step potentiometer in combination with high-end 130-step electronic volume chips and the JRC MUSES72320V. Despite electronic control, the volume adjustment occurs purely in the analog part. This meticulous design provides a delicate feel when adjusting the volume and ensures stable and precise volume control, enhancing the overall listening experience.

This protection system safeguards your setup by detecting output DC, implementing power-on delay squelch and power-off noise cancellation, and offering overcurrent/overload protection, ensuring the safety of the power amplifier circuit and headphones throughout every stage of operation.
