As headphones isolate the left/right channels, this can cause increased fatigue to your ears during extended listening periods. Crossfeed mixes some of the signals from one channel and sends them to the opposite channel with a slight delay, creating a more central and natural sound, recreating sounds similar to that of listening via a speaker system, subsequently reducing listening fatigue. The delicately processed volume wheel is one unit recessed in the body of the product, and the control and volume identification are separate. This design prevents you from unintentionally operating the volume wheel and allows for visually checking the current output level whilst simultaneously controlling the volume. The delicately processed volume wheel is one unit recessed in the body of the product, and the control and volume identification are separate. This design prevents you from unintentionally operating the volume wheel and allows for visually checking the current output level whilst simultaneously controlling the volume. The rubber pad on the front allows the audio player and AK PA10 to stay together without movement and vibration when they are bound together with the supplied rubber bands. Additionally, Astell&Kern added a 3D textured pattern inspired by the logo of Astell&Kern for a touch of luxury. The side switches are indicators to let you know the setting of each function intuitively whilst adding to the overall robust and distinctive industrial design of the AK PA10.

I was reluctant to buy this amp but I can say without a doubt that it is one of my best purchases.
Options
Crossfeed, Gain & Current helps tremendously with listening experience.
I tried it with Monarch MK2 and Tempotec V6. I was able to feel signafcant difference in body, soundstage, seperation, upper and lower extension.
Overall a good buy for people who do not want to spend too much on a high end DAP.

Nothing is perfect, but at his price, the cons seems to nibble at me.
Pros: It has enough Power for Planars, Doesn't sound sibilant. Is able to elevate mids to a different level of realism. The cross-feed is not gimmick, it is a game changer which brings the realism to the vocals. Nuances in the mid section is brought forth effortlessly. Soundstage is good too, in fact very good.
Both male and female specially sound exquisite. They are meaty. There is no such meat!!!
Cons:
I will put the biggest con first: Sound - It is not airy. There is hardly any extension on the treble. it is very center or mid focused. I do not know if this is the A&K house sound. What this does is, it makes Planars sound like DD, both headphone(Venus) and IEMs(Heyday). I am missing the Planar sound which I get from using Nx7. I guess the transients are not fast, sorry I am not technical enough.
Design is not a good one.
1.The ports are too closely packed. 4.4mm ports are very light, repeated plugging in and out is sure to erode the gold plating of male and female plugs.
2. The lack of a 4.4mm to 4.4mm cable is a big letdown.
3. The 4.4mm out only works if you feed a balanced in. The same goes for 3.5mm.
4. The design of the amp is such that you cannot stack your dap on top, as the top surface is an uneven one.
Conclusion: Who is it for: - Mid lovers paradise. A thing to behold actually.
Who will hate it: Planar lovers, analytical signature lovers, anyone looking for airy sound.
One of the best class A amp, quite a substantial improvement in the SQ, highly recommended, for iems it is quite powerful and no hiss at all.

My setup is quite unusual , so I bought it to experiment but seriously it nailed it..!!
If you want melodious sound which your DAC can't give you because of low amplification from some of your demanding outputs.. then it's a must have..!!
